Book your stay

Fill in the simple form and reserve the place by paying a small refundable booking fee. This fee will be deducted from the total amount to be paid.

Finalize the payment

As soon as the landlord accepts your booking (within 48 hours), you will receive an invoice with the rest of the amount (total amount minus the refundable booking fee).

1.What is the refundable booking fee?

The refundable booking fee reserves the property. When you make a reservation, that property is blocked until the host responds to your request (in maximum of 48 hours).
If the landlord accepts your booking this booking fee will be deducted from the total price. If the landlord doesn’t accept your booking, you will receive a refund immediately.

The refundable booking fee is $29 for one person bookings, $49 for two people bookings, and $99 for three or more people bookings. For instance, if you are booking for yourself and another friend, you would have to pay $49 as a refundable booking fee.
We use Stripe to collect the refundable booking fee and for safety reasons, your card details will never be stored on nanuk’s servers.

2. When do I need to make the full payment?

As soon as the hosts accepts your booking, we will send you an invoice with the remaining amount to be paid (total amount minus the refundable booking fee). This invoice has to be paid in maximum 3 days from the receiving date.

3. What happens if the host doesn’t accept my booking?

If landlord doesn’t accept your booking, you will receive the refundable booking fee back immediately.

 

4. What happens if I change my mind and I want to cancel my booking?

If the landlord has not confirmed your booking request yet, you can request a cancellation of your booking request without any penalty. If the landlord has already confirmed your booking request, we will keep the booking fee as a cancelation fee.


If you want to cancel your booking after the full amount has been paid, cancelations are at the sole discretion of the hosts and their policies. And will keep the refundable booking fee as a cancelation fee. Please note: that you are not able to cancel the booking once you have checked in.

5. What if I want to add more guests to my booking?

If you want to add more guests to the booking, you will have to pay the additional refundable booking fee depending on the number of added guests. 

6. What if I want to change the dates of my booking?

If you want to change the dates to an already confirmed booking, this will be done based on availability. If you want to stay for a longer period of time and the host confirms they have rooms available, we will send you an invoice with the total amount which has to be paid in maximum 24 hours to confirm the extension. Please note: all date changes for the booking must go through nanuk and should not be discussed with the host directly.
